Mr. Atif Mehmood Kayani, Chairman Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) has assumed the charge of the office of the Director General Federal Directorate of Education w.e.f 23rd May 2011. He has a vast experience of managing educational Institutions.

Recent Achievements:

Since assuming the charge of the office of Director General (Education), Mr. Atif Mehmood Kayani has been very successful in achieving historical landmarks on account of promotion of education, providing improved uniform educational facilities to all and uplifting the standard of living of teaching and non-teaching staff of ICT. Highlights

May 2012	Establishment Division has verified the lists / Office Orders of newly regularized BS-01 to BS-15 staff of FDE (Including CLIs and CLAs) as desired by AGPR for verification of their service books. April 2012	Federal Directorate of Education has postponed the Tests and Interviews for the contractual posts for Computer Staff which were scheduled on April 27 & 28, 2012 due to unavoidable reasons. New schedule for these tests and Interviews shall be announced later on. March 2012	- FDE declared the results of the Centralized Grade-V & Scholarship Examinations Grade-VIII 2012. (Check Results) - On the recommendation of the DSB, vide CA&DD Notification No 7-1/2011/Admn-1 dated March 13, 2012 Mr. Taj Muhammad Bhatti has been promoted to the posts of Director (BS-19). Mr. Asif Iqbal Khan & Mr. Ghulam Hussain Sohoo have been appointed as Directors (BS-19) on acting charge basis with effect from Feb 27, 2012. - Central Selection Board has promoted Prof. Shehnaz Murad, Principal IMCG G-10/2 to BS-20.
