RESULTS 2014

 

    Mr. Hafiz Sher Ali, Joint Secretary, (BS-20) CA&D Division has assumed the charge of the office of Director General (Education) FDE, with immediate effect on the post vacated due to the retirement of Prof. Mahmood Akhtar Malik on April 09, 2014. All officers and staff of FDE welcome his posting and assure him, their full cooperation in smooth functioning of FDE.

April

No student shall be denied admission in Public Sector Educational Institutions in ICT. Necessary arrangements have been made to accommodate all students seeking admission in ICT according to the REVISED ADMISSION POLICY. Joint Educational Advisor and Director General (Edu) FDE, Mr. Muhammad Rafique Tahir, held a "Media Briefing" in the presence of large gathering of Print and Electronic Media representatives on April 22, 2014 at FDE. Speaking on the Occasion, JEA/DG, FDE highlighted various reforms & measures taken, under the visionary leadership of The Secretary, Capital Administration & Development Division, Mr. Faridullah Khan, to improve quality of education, addressing the admission related issues and provision of Free Textbooks up to Class-X as per the policy of the Federal Government. He highlighted that Admission Complaints Cell has been revived at FDE. He requested the parents, not to emphasize for admission in selected Model Colleges. He assured the General Public that Capital Administration and Development Division is committed to provide quality education to the residents of ICT and to resolve various issue which have been piled up in due course of time. He also shared the Division's vision for the future reforms under consideration. (Ref: 22042014)

   Admission Complaint Cell, has been established at FDE HQ to facilitate the general public regarding various complaints about admissions in Educational Institutions under FDE for Academic Session 2014-15. In case of any complaint please contact/visit Mr. Asif Iqbal Khan, Director, FDE (Rohtas Road, Sector G-9/4, Ph: 926 1899).

Revised Admission Policy for Admission to Educational Institutions under FDE (Session 2014-15)

Mr. Hafiz Sher Ali, Director General (Edu) FDE has proceeded abroad on a visit to Japan till first week of May. 2014. Mr. Muhammad Rafique Tahir, Joint Educational Advisor, CA&D Division shall look after the charge of the Office of Director General (Education) FDE.

*  GIRL GUIDES Resident Camp for students of Educational Institutions under FDE was inaugurated at IMSG (VI-X) G-10/1, Islamabad by the Director Schools (Female) Mrs. Farida Yasmin on April 17, 2014. This three day camp will provide opportunities to female students to learn various skills for better serving others and the dear homeland. Female Students are encouraged to visit the venue for inspiration.

*  Academic Session 2014-15 in Educational Institutions under FDE has commenced from April 14, 2014. Admissions are open in compliance with "Right of Free and Compulsory Education" under Article 25-A of the Constitutional amendment. Parents are encouraged to send their children to the Public Sector Educational Institutions, near to their residence as per the Admission Policy of FDE.  Free Textbooks, as per the policy of Federal Government are being provided to all students from Prep/Kachi to Class X.

*  Mr. Hafiz Sher Ali, Joint Secretary (BS-20) CA&D Division, vide CA&DD Notification No. F.1-3/2014-Admin-I dated April 09, 2014 has been granted the additional charge of the Office of the Director General (Education) FDE. A briefing session on FDE was held on April 10, 2014.

*  Check Results of Class-V Centralized Annual Examination and Class-VIII Scholarship Examination declared on March 31, 2014.

* Results of Class-V Centralized Annual Examination and Class-VIII Scholarship Examination were declared on March 31, 2014. Mr. Muhammad Rafique Tahir, Joint Educational Advisor, Capital Administration & Development Division graced the "Results Deceleration Ceremony" as chief guest. Director General (Edu) FDE Prof. Mahmood Akhtar Malik shared the highlights of the examination and congratulated the successful students, staff and heads of the respective Educational Institutions. Speaking on the occasion the chief guest appreciated the efforts of all concerned at FDE and congratulated the position holders, their heads and faculty.  

* Federal Directorate of Education has invited Tenders for Supply of Equipment for Computer Lab in various Educational Institutions of FDE through Development Project Titled "Provision of 11 Computer Labs in remaining Schools/Colleges in Islamabad" (Click here to see details of the Tenders)

* Annual Educational Census 2012-13 was conducted for Educational Institutions under FDE using purpose built Data Collection Instrument. These Facts/ Findings from the Statistical Data and analysis of the Critical Indicators will help us in information based decision making and corrective measures for improvement of the academic services through Public Sector Educational Institutions. This activity was conducted by the I.T Coordinator, FDE with the support of respective Directors Colleges, Model Colleges and Area Education Officers as Focal Persons. Facts and findings were forwarded to Secretary CA&D D in January 2013 and Report printed in July 2013.
* Job opportunities for teaching & non-teaching staff on Contract. Last date for submission of applications on specified proforma is
September 21, 2012.
