General Federal Directorate of Education w.e.f 23rd May 2011. He has a vast
experience of managing educational Institutions.

Since assuming the
charge of the office of Director General (Education), Mr. Atif Mehmood Kayani
has been very successful in achieving historical landmarks on account of
promotion of education, providing improved uniform educational facilities to all
and uplifting the standard of living of teaching and non-teaching staff of ICT.

Directorate of Education (FDE) establishes a system of academic excellence and
character building traditions with a focus on every student as a very important
personality. FDE is conscious of its onerous responsibility of imparting quality
education to more than 200,000 students in 418 institutions spread out in rural

- Federal Directorate of Education under the visionary
leadership of the Secretary, Capital Administration &
Development Division (CA&DD) , shall celebrate a week
of events under the
slogan "CLEAN & GREEN ISLAMABAD".
Various activities have been planned in this regard. The
objective is to create awareness amongst the students and
general public to keep the environment clean. These
celebrations shall be concluded with a Walk by the students on
February 27, 2012.
